2019 Partnership with the Musée acadien

From November 1st to 30th , 2019, visit the Shediac Public Library with your library card and receive a pass to visit theMusée acadien in Moncton, NB.


 The museum is located in the Clément-Cormier building of the Université de Moncton in Moncton.

 The pass is valid for one visit from November 1st, 2019 to February 28th, 2020.

The pass will automatically expire after February 28th, 2020.

 Important: one pass grants one free admission to the Musée acadien per cardholder.

 For example, a family of four will require four library cards in order to check out four passes.

 Present your Library card and your pass and you will gain free admission to the Musée acadien.

You can pick up a prepaid mailing envelope at the library and donate your old smartphone to help unlock life-changing potential of mobile technology for people who are blind or partially blind.

For the love of art, books and children 

Incredible generosity! Incredible art exhibit-sale!

 Are you looking for that “one of a kind” gift, a beautiful work of art that will help pull the decor of your room together or that special painting that “speaks” to you?

 Thanks to an incredible donation of canvases by the late local artist Berthe Landry and the unmatched generosity and
talent of Madeleine Raiche, creator of the Little Sunshines,beautiful…colourful…lively…original paintings are now
available for purchase at the Library.

The price for each painting has been reduced by 40% and all proceeds from the sale of these works of art will be used to buy books and continue to offer free programming at the library.
